Luigi’s Mansion 2 tasks Luigi (once again) with hunting ghosts around decrepit mansions (somewhat unwillingly) at the request of Professor E. Next Level Games, the developers of Punch-Out!! Wii, have been the ones tasked with bringing Luigi back into the frame and they’ve done it extremely well. So here we are now – the year is 2013, and it has been twelve years since we last saw Luigi come out of his brother’s shadow. Since then, Luigi has been nothing more than a support act – playing football, golf and racing in karts but never again has he had a chance to stand on his own two feet. Not only that, but rather poetically he had to embark on his own adventure to rescue his brother Mario.
Up to eight players can compete against the clock to complete challenges across the ScareScraper’s many levels.For years Luigi has had to play second fiddle to his brother until 2001 when Nintendo released Luigi’s Mansion for the GameCube and gave him his own game. 
Journey through the Last Resort, rising its many levels filled with strange devices and terrifying foes. The player may switch between Luigi and Gooigi at will, or they can simultaneously team up to take control of both characters. Gooigi is an all-green duplicate of Luigi. Help Luigi get across spikes and small gaps by teaming up with Gooigi, Professor E. He is introducing Slam, Suction Shot, and Burst, three new, devastating attacks from Master Luigi. 
Luigi still has a fear of confrontation, but he is better equipped than ever before. Up to eight players on four Nintendo Switches can compete in this mode either online or in a local LAN (other games required). In ScareScraper mode, players compete against the clock to complete tasks over many levels. You may play as either Luigi or Gooigi, or you can split the control with a friend. Use the enhanced Poltergust G-00 to smash and explode through the ghosts’ defenses, or call upon your all-green doppelganger, Gooigi, to aid you. Gadd as he bravely ventures up and down the dangerous levels of the now-foreboding hotel. Luigi, ever the hesitant and cowardly hero, is again helped by the ever-helpful Professor E. But when King Boo reveals it was all a plot to kidnap Mario and his buddies, his dream rapidly turns into a nightmare. Upon accepting an invitation to a five-star hotel, Luigi and his pals Mario and his companions set off on a holiday of a lifetime. The game has new ghost-catching skills, a doppelganger sidekick named Gooigi, and local and online multiplayer options that allow for cooperative and competitive play. The third game in the Luigi’s Mansion series is titled “Luigi’s Mansion 3.” Players take control of Luigi once more as he attempts to save his companions from the cursed hotel’s resident ghosts.
